What is wage slavery?

The idea that comes to mind of many people when they hear the word slavery is the purchase and sale of people, their shipment from one continent to another and the abolition of this trade in the early nineteenth century, even if we know nothing about the Slave Trade, is something that we as part of our history rather than our present, however, the reality is that slavery is still present Today, millions of women, children and men around the world are forced to live as slaves, although this exploitation is often not called slavery, the conditions are the same people are sold as objects, forced to work for ridiculously low wages or no wages, and live at the mercy of their "employers" Slavery exists today despite being banned in most countries where it is practiced, there are now women Europe working as prostitutes in conditions of debt bondage, are trafficked boys and girls between the African and Sudamérrica obliges men to work as slaves on farms, modern slavery takes many forms and affects people of all ages, genders and races.

Slavery has features that distinguish it from other human rights violations, a Slave:

- It forces you to work through psychological and social threats

-You become the property of an "employer"

- He dehumanizes (Alienation) and treated as a commodity, or is bought and sold as a "membership"

- will be physically limited or imposes restrictions on their freedom of movement (hours).
